We have ministered in several churches. One was 3 hours away, requiring a long, winding, bumpy drive. The church met in the middle of a road next to the pastor’s house. The people were praising God with just two small drums and their voices. Sheep were bah-ing and chickens clucking, but Jesus was in our midst. People were saved, healed, set free and filled with the Spirit of God. We have also attended many prayer meetings with people who meet during the week and pray from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Some of the groups have focused prayers, such as praying for students in college. They meet in small prayer rooms and we have an opportunity to share the Gospel with them as well. Many people in Rwanda have been taught wrong doctrine that causes them to doubt God’s message of salvation by grace.
Another group of people we were able to minister to was a young boys soccer team. Parfait’s brother works with the team and we had the opportunity to minister to them as well. They were very receptive to us coming.
